Interviewing Victims of Crime

Overview

Comprehensive and focused INTERVIEWING OF VICTIMS, witnesses and suspects is a critical element in any criminal investigation. As such, the understanding and knowledge of certain basic techniques is a must for law enforcement personnel. They must also understand the nuances associated with interviewing special people such as child victims or witnesses and persons with special needs.   
At the conclusion of this course, law enforcement personnel will have acquired the knowledge of proper interviewing techniques for all types of people. The use of hands-on interviewing scenarios is integrated into this course to allow the participants to better understand the specific techniques taught during the course.
