Overview

Caveat emptor, let the buyer beware, is a critical concept in the age of the internet.  Who they are, what they say and what really happened may not be honestly represented on websites.  Internet fraud and the exploitation of well-meaning people are common.  This module examines NGO and advocacy websites, and uses case studies to demonstrate how unethical organizations slant the truth to raise money and exploit goodwill.
