About SEALETA

SEALETA was formed in 2006 so that the principals could pass along their extensive experience gained in a lifetime of endeavor. The target market is primarily law enforcement and military personnel in Southeast Asia; however, some courses are designed for a multidisciplinary group including social workers, health care workers, general government employees, non-governmental organization staff, teachers, students/researchers and volunteers

SEALETAhas provided extensive training on criminal intelligence and the use of intelligence-related software to law enforcement and military personnel in Thailand and the Greater Mekong Region including Laos, the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar (Burma) and Malaysia. Their course catalog includes training programs in basic and advanced criminal intelligence, the use of basic and advanced intelligence and investigation software, human trafficking, pedophile and child pornography investigations, school safety and security, and an overview of drug use/abuse/trafficking, child and adult prostitution, sex tourism, HIV/AIDS and corruption in Southeast Asia.

Richard H. RiversRichard H. Rivers:

U.S. Marine Corps veteran, over twenty years with U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in progressively responsible positions of intelligence gathering, inspections, and intelligence supervision. Extensive history of teaching and training law enforcement and military personnel with a particular emphasis on related specialized computer software. In depth knowledge of worldwide drug situation with emphasis on Southeast Asia. U.S. citizen; resident of Thailand.

Frank J. WeicksFrank J. Weicks:

U.S. Army veteran, twenty years as a police detective in New Orleans, LA, USA, specializing in child abuse and juvenile investigations, including children trafficked for prostitution. Later specializing in narcotics cases. U.S. court certified expert in all areas of child abuse and narcotics investigations. Over ten years with U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in intelligence gathering and analysis. Extensive history of teaching and training law enforcement and military personnel, social workers, university students and NGO staff. In depth knowledge of Southeast Asia. U.S. citizen; resident of Thailand.

Rebecca Lomax, Ph.D.Rebecca Lomax, Ph.D.:

Dr. Lomax has extensive experience developing and managing treatment programs in the United States to address the health and mental health needs of at-risk populations. Writer, lecturer and consultant, she serves as adjunct faculty to SEALETA, training on human trafficking and social issues in Southeast Asia. She has resided in the Golden Triangle for over ten years.
